The Year Two children have had a fun-packed day consolidating their leaning about the Great Fire of London. They have been busy examining wattle and daub houses, writing with quills, learning to play 'London's Burning' on xylophones, target practice with water squirts, having a visit from a fireman and carry out drama.
They have been considering why the fire spread so quickly, how the fire was fought, how we know about the fire and how we keep safe today.
