School Council

Our new School Council was formed in October, after children in Key Stage 1 were given the opportunity to put themselves forward as a candidate. Each class then selected three representatives who campaigned for a week, sharing their ideas with their peers. This was followed by a democratic voting process, where every child in Year 1 and Year 2 had the opportunity to vote for their chosen representative. We are excited to establish the council and look forward to expanding it further by electing representatives from Reception and the Honeybees class later in the school year.

Our councillors are eager to get started and will attend regular meetings, led by Mrs Best, to help make very important decisions and represent the children's voice!
