Welcome

The aim of this website is to give you useful information about our school and also to reflect its ethos. Our school is welcoming and friendly with good relationships between pupils, staff, parents and carers being of paramount importance to us. We believe that children learn best when they feel safe, valued and are happy to come to school. We have high expectations of all pupils in terms of both academic achievements and behaviour. For a good idea of our school watch our end of term video by clicking on here.

The January 2023 Ofsted Report includes the following comments (click here to view the report in full):

You can find more information about our school by clicking on here which will take you the Department of Education website about our school.

On the 1st November 2018 our school converted to an academy and joined Hamwic Education Trust (Hamwic Education Trust Registered address: Unit E, Mill Yard, Nursling Street, Southampton, SO16 0AJ. A charitable company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales. Company Number 10749662).

We felt that this would provide our school with the support and challenge needed to help us to continue to develop and improve. Dorset County Council are maintaining responsibility for our admissions arrangements, please click on the 'admissions' tab in our 'Parents' section for more details.

We are rightly proud of our school and we hope that by looking through the website you will get a feel for the work and fun that happens on a day to day basis. If you are a prospective parent or are thinking of moving into the Upton area then please contact us to arrange a tour where you can see the school in action!

If any parents or carers would like paper copies of anything on the website please contact the school office and we will be able to arrange it for you.
