Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
As the children are settling back into school, we are focussing on key learning skills over these two weeks. Your child will be regularly coming home wearing a sticker which says ‘Ask me about…’
Please look at their stickers and ask them to tell you about what they have learned – not just the activities they have done, but what they understand about each of the learning skills. You can find out about them here or read their stories here.
Today, our Reception children have been focussing on communication, Year One have been learning about independence and Year Two have been considering how best to work as a team. Over the coming weeks they will also be learning about resilience, responsibility and enquiry skills.
‘The Learning Critters’ are our little friends who help us to learn these key skills.
We are very much looking forward to welcoming everybody back to school on Monday. Please see below for the drop off and collection information:
It's been an unusual World Book Day...
With most children learning at home, people have been taking to our Facebook page to share their fantastic World Book costumes. Many children have been recreating their favourite book covers. Just take a look at some of the fantastic pictures below:
It's nearly the half term break! We have had a busy half term of online learning, but it turns out it doesn't always go smoothly...
Following our recent parents' survey, a number or parents expressed that it can be a little confusing navigating home learning, which, by the nature of the lockdown, is in some part due to the amount of information which has come out in a very short time.
To help with this, we have produced a guide which we hope will provide some clarity.
You can download the guide here.
As many children are currently learning at home, each Year group has a home learning page where you can access the day's learning. Each day the teachers will provide a number of virtual lesson videos which can all be accessed here.
Live at 5.00 on Wednesday 16th December, join us on our YouTube channel for our Virtual Christmas Fayre. We will post the link here on Wednesday afternoon.
The fun kicks off at 5.00 with our Family Game Show Night. The children will bring home with them a quiz sheet to record their answers.
After the quiz fun, we will be drawing the winner of our 'Lockdown Lottery'. The prize currently stands at £170.
Following the Lottery Draw will be the premier of our Christmas Performance, 'The Most Brilliant Story Ever Told'.
We look forward to you joining us then!
