The Spring Disco took place this afternoon. There were some 'banging tunes' being spun by the DJ with amazing dancing and a lot of fun being had by all. Judging by the smiley, sweaty children leaving the disco, they enjoyed themselves!
Another great event organised by the PSA - thank you!
Our Year One children had a fantastic time at Marwell Park on Tuesday where they came face to face with penguins, giraffes and tigers. Judging by the tired grown ups at he end of the day they had a very busy day!
Today children and staff came to school donning red noses and dressed in red clothing to help raise money for Red Nose Day. Thank you to everyone for supporting this worthwhile cause.
Our marvellous PSA team organised a fantastic St Patrick's Day Quiz night to raise funds for our Target 10 appeal to raise money to provide new playground equipment for the children.
Fifty parents, friends and staff turned up to enjoy the 'craic' in a fantastic quiz compared by the now legendary Mr Hesketh.
Thank you to the PSA and everybody who came along who helped to raise £460 towards the appeal. Well done everyone!
The children have had a fantastic time today celebrating World Book Day. Everyone came to school dressed as a fantastic array of book characters including Mary Poppins, Fantastic Mr Fox and Cat in the Hat. The children spent the day immersed in books.
Among the highlights of the day was a 'Swap Shop' where children could exchange one of their unwanted books for another child's.
The staff were all dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland, and each child helped Alice to tell and write their own stories.
A fantastic day was had by all!
