Welcome to Year Two

What we are learning next week

In Maths next week we will be comparing numbers to 100 using 'greater than', 'less than' and 'equal to'. We will also be reading and writing numbers in words and focusing on number bonds.  You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In our literacy lessons next week we will be reading 'House Held Up By Trees'. We will learn how to write commas in a list and introduce adverbs to describe the tree and setting in the story. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In computer science next week the children will retrieve their work from last week and continue to write about their favourite hobby. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In geography next week the children will be using their knowledge so far about maps to walk around the school and locate some hidden letters.  You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In our design and technology lessons the children we will be using their design to create a sandwich and create packaging for the final product. You can read the knowledge organiser here.
