Year Two Blog 16th June

Welcome to Year Two

What we are learning next week

In maths we will be consolidating our learning so far. We will be focusing on partitioning numbers, shape, money and solving number problems.

In our literacy lessons we will be reading 'George's Marvellous Medicine' and we will be using commands and conjunctions in our writing. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In Science we will be learning about habitats and microhabitats. We will be exploring the different microhabitats around our school. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In DT we will be learning how wheels attach to axles. We will be experimenting with different materials to attach them together.  You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In Geography we will be comparing Upton (town) to Chembakolli (village). We will be looking at the physical and human features.
