Welcome to Year Two
What we are learning next week
In Maths next week, we will be adding coins together to find the total and we will learn how to make the same amount in different ways.
In our literacy lessons we will be reading 'The Day the Crayons Quit'. The children will use the book to find apostrophes, conjunctions and key words that are used to write a letter.
In science next week we will be looking at objects and learning about the material they are made from.
In history we will be learning about The Great Fire of London. The children will use primary and secondary resources to find facts about this historical event.
In art we will be discussing the similarities and differences between different paintings. We will focus on Monet and William Turner.
