Welcome to Year Two

What we are learning next week

In maths we will be measuring time using an analogue clock. We will learn how to tell the time to the nearest hour, half an hour and quarter hour intervals. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In our literacy lessons we will be reading 'Ocean Meets Sky'. We will learn how to use prepositions in our writing to show direction, time, place and location.  You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In Science we will learn that there are many types of seeds. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In Art we will use Playdoh to learn how to knead, roll and coil. This will help us when we create our own clay sculpture. You can read the knowledge organiser here.

In History we will be learning about Mary Seacole and why she is a significant individual. You can read the knowledge organiser here.
