Today the children came to school dressed as farmers and scarecrows and donated food for our Harvest Festival.
The children spent the day doing a range of Autumn themed activities, including carving harvest themed pumpkins.
We were joined by members of the ‘Young at Heart’ club for our harvest assembly in which each year group sang an Autumn song and Mrs Vaughan and Mrs Grounds battled it out in a ‘Ready, Steady, Cook’ competition, judged by the Young at Heart. The pumpkin carving competition was won by the Foxes class.
