Who says Monday is the worst day of the week?! Definitely not Year Two.
The sun was shining, the water was glistening and the children arrived with a bundle of energy ready for an adventurous day.
Led by qualified instructors, the children took part in a range of water and outdoor activities at Harbour Challenge down at Hamworthy Park.
They enjoyed racing on water rafts and kayaking on the water. The children even stood up in their kayaks, for a singalong to ‘head, shoulders, knees and toes!’
Taking a break from the water, the children climbed up a challenging rock wall and learnt the skills of Robin Hood by practising to use a bow and arrow in archery.
We couldn’t have ran this trip without the ongoing support of our parents, especially the parent helpers who didn’t mind getting their toes wet by lending a helping hand on the trip. Thank you!
