Music at Upton Infant School
Throughout the school year the children at Upton Infant School get involved in lots of different musical activities - both making and listening to music. Have a look at some of the things that we get up to:
Class Music Lessons
Children are Upton Infant School enjoy weekly music lessons in which they both listen to and produce music. They learn to use their voices to sing, plus they learn about pitch, dynamics and tempo.
Singing Assembly
Without a doubt a highlight of the week at Upton Infants in singing assembly. The whole school meets in the hall to learn new songs to sing together and actions to go with the songs. Want to know what songs we sing? Just ask any of the children - they'd love to share them with you!
Upton Infant School Choir
Here at Upton Infant School we are very proud of our school choir! They meet weekly and have lots of fun learning new songs together from a variety of genres. Throughout the year they then represent our school by performing at a variety of events such as a local Carol Concert, Church Summer Fayres and the Pyramid Schools Music Festival. If your child is interested in joining the choir please see Mrs Gdesis, Mrs Smith or Mr Cole.
