Nepal Appeal

Upton Infant and Junior Schools held a non-school uniform day today to help raise funds to support the people of Nepal.

Nepal was hit by a devastating earthquake on Saturday, its worst in over 80 years. More than 500 people have been reported dead and 50,000 more injured. Many families have lost everything in the earthquake.

Thanks to the generosity of Upton Infant School's pupils, families and staff, a total of £615 was raised. It was particularly touching that some children were moved to donate their own pocket money towards the appeal.

Thank you very much to all members of our school community. Below are a few pictures of the children in "non-school uniform".
